Arrival/Departure Times
Check-In -- after 3:00PM; please inform us in advance if checking in late so we can arrange for a worry-free arrival.
Check-Out -- by 11:00AM; there is an additional $25.00/room fee for a late check-out. There is flexibility however based on our staff’s schedule and same day room bookings. Please check with us.
In-Room Amenities
All guest rooms are located on the second floor (13 steps) and have private bathrooms. In-room amenities include complimentary bottled water (not that there is anything wrong with our lovely well water... we just really like the cool blue bottles the spring water comes in), conditioning shampoo, soap, cotton wool and swabs, make-up remover, blow dryer, alarm clock, ironing board and iron.
There is an extra blanket in each room although you'll probably never need it as each bed is made up with both a fluffy comforter and is topped with a quilt. Some rooms come with feathers and others do not. If you are allergic to down please let us know in advance of your arrival so that we can properly outfit your room.
We are mindful of our beautiful environment and encourage you to assist with our recycling efforts. We have placed a recycling basket in each guest room for you to deposit used cans as well as plastic & glass bottles. To conserve water towels are replaced after two nights of use and bed linens after 3 nights of slumber. If you need towels replaced sooner please leave those you use in your shower. Because we are such a small property we purchase and care for your linens personally. To preserve the life of our white linens and towels we provide black towels for guests to use to remove make up or dirt from other items. It would be most appreciated if you leave shoes that have enjoyed a day out on the course or a hike through the mountains in the first floor office.
Breakfast
A pre-set hot breakfast is prepared each morning by our very own Le Cordon Bleu Chef and is served to your own private table. We typically alternate between protein and carbohydrate based entrees. Seatings are at 8:30, 9:00 and 9:30. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions or are vegetarian so we can plan accordingly.
Internet
The Lincoln Inn is Wi-Fi friendly so please feel free to bring along all of your cyber space traveling companions.
Cell/Mobile Phones
If you are looking to get away from it all central Vermont is the place to visit. While the odds are a little better than Vegas, cellular phone service is a bit dicey. Give your loved ones our phone number. Bring your cell phone along as coverage is constantly improving. You are welcome to charge calls to your credit card and pre-paid cards are available for purchase.

In advance of your arrival and during your stay we are pleased to provide recommendations for area attractions and secure reservations. We love food and we love to travel the region so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like suggestions on what to do and where to dine. Children
Children over the age of 14 are welcome -- on occasion we are able to accept younger children. Please contact us.
Pets
We are sorry but our inn cannot accommodate pets. If you would like to treat your pet to a spa day or overnight accommodations while visiting please see our links page for an area recommendation.
Smoking
Our entire inn is non-smoking. Smoking is not allowed in any interior portion of our building. Smoking in a guest room will result in an immediate request to leave and a $250.00 additional cleaning charge. Smoking is allowed outside and at the Terrace.
On-Premise Alcohol Consumption
The inn and grounds are fully licensed to sell and serve beer, wine and spirits. According to Vermont law patrons are free to consume their own alcohol in the privacy of their guest room. All other alcohol consumed in public areas of the inn and on the grounds must be purchased through our restaurant and bar. Vermont law also allows and requires all staff members to deny alcohol to guests that are under the influence. Any inn or restaurant guest found behind the bar will be required to terminate their stay immediately and will be charged for their entire reservation. An infraction of this kind may also result in the need for the involvement of local law enforcement. We're sorry that we even have to indicate things this way because 99% of our lovely guests are respectful and trustworthy. It's that darn 1% that forces us to put things down in writing.
